SPACE FUNDAMENTALS FOR NATIONAL SECURITY LEADERS
On October 25th, NDU’s College of Information and Cyberspace hosted Space Fundamentals for National Security Leaders featuring Colonel Gardner (NDU’s US Space Force Chair) as well as executives from SpaceX and BLUE ORIGIN.
This non-public post-graduate discussion included senior military officers from 16 international allied countries, State Department officials, NDU faculty, 10 U.S. government agencies, senior U.S. military officers, and other government agency fellows at the College of Information and Cyberspace. Speakers provided an introduction to the Space domain, how it is organized, how space works, and the interdependency between DoD, commercial, and international efforts. Panelists discussed space systems infrastructure and cooperation required to operate successfully in Space.
